My Plan For Ward 7

How I Will Deliver Results For Ward 7

Create More Jobs & Support Local Businesses

Policies that attract investment, help small businesses grow, and create more local job opportunities by working with businesses, community partners, and the City to strengthen Ward 7's economy.

Property Tax Relief

I will call for an audit of the city budget, cut unnecessary spending, provide property tax relief, and ensure transparent, responsible spending of taxpayer dollars.

Peel Region

Mississauga needs to leave the Peel Region, and by doing that we could save taxpayers roughly $85 million per year. The council tried hard with an aggressive approach towards the provincial government. If I get elected to the council, I will take more of a collaborative approach towards the provincial government. The aggressive approach did not help us and we could not build a better case for Mississauga. In my opinion, we should work in collaboration to build a better case for Mississauga getting out of the Peel Region.

Add More Speed Humps

Work with residents to identify streets where traffic calming measures can reduce speeding and make neighbourhoods safer.

Improve Transportation for Seniors

Advocate for more accessible and reliable bus services so seniors can travel safely and independently.

Maintain Trees, Parks & Green Spaces

Ensure regular tree maintenance, grass cutting, and better upkeep of public spaces to keep Ward 7 clean and welcoming.

Fix Roads & Improve Infrastructure

Prioritize road repairs, maintenance, and smarter infrastructure investments to improve daily travel for residents.

Increase LRT Transparency

It is one of the most expensive public transit projects in the history of Mississauga. A big chunk of the LRT has impacted Ward 7 from Burnhamthorpe to QEW. Recently, Metrolinx had a meeting with members of the council about the updates to the LRT. They need to make the reports of that meeting public. The people of Mississauga need to know what is happening with their taxpayer dollars. If I get elected, I am going to increase LRT transparency through clear communication, regular project updates, and stronger public engagement.
